PS: I hope it's ok, that I'm going to quote your post in another discussion since I opened another one because this one got ignored at first and your post might be very helpful. and depending on the industry, 30-60 of the jobs are for uneducated workers (aka not even elemntary school finished). But I want to try out every industry and its really annoing when agriculture and forestry just don't work out from a certain point so that I'm bound to build only regular, oil and ore which are ugly compared to agriculture and forestry. So if you got 100 coverage with elemntary and high schools your workers will all be well educated (the 3'rd of the 4 education steps), and simply not want to work in uneducated job slots. Thanks for the hint! I'm gonna try to increase my population and see what happens.īut I hate that agriculture and forestry are the least desireable since there is no point in building those in a later stage of your city. If everybody is educated and you have enough people, they will fill all jobs. The way this interacts with the "sooner or later everyone is educated" system you'll have the vacant jobs all concentrated in the not-educated sector, as long as there are not enough workers.īasically you just need to get more population. Generic industry and commercial increase their number of workers a lot when they level up and increase the required education level Agriculture and forestry pay less or are otherwise the least desireable Originally posted by Nellvan:Since I just wrote a wall of text in the other thread I'll keep this on point.
